Altibbi Launches the First Arabic App for Reproductive Health in MENA

The Altibbi digital health platform has launched a new application for reproductive health, it is the first digital health application in the Arabic language for maternity and pregnant women under the name (Altibbi Mama) that enables women to follow the journey of pregnancy and maternity and follow up with thousands of physicians and consultants and to provide teleconsultations and respond to all medical inquiries and consultations 24 hours a day, seven days a week to provide the women of Egypt and the Arab world with a healthy pregnancy and safe childbirth.

Jalil Al Labadi – Co-Founder and CEO of Altibbi said: “In an effort to advance women’s reproductive health in Egypt, Jordan, and Saudi Arabia, the Altibbi platform launched the “Altibbi Mama” application so that women can track their pregnancy and ensure the health of their children through one smart application. The application provides its services at affordable prices for everyone, at a cost not exceeding 75 EGP per month, and with subscriptions ranging from 6 months to 12 months. Altibbi platform also aims to reach the number of users to 500,000 women by the end of 2021. “

Allabadi added: “Aligning with Egypt’s endeavors to promote women health through the “100 Million Healthy Lives” campaign, we strived hard to introduce the application in Arabic along with creating a user-friendly experience. Accordingly, the company aims at serving women nationwide while raising awareness of reproductive health. Also, all our services are paid for electronically by credit cards, protecting mothers and children from Coronavirus.”

The application (Altibbi Mama) includes many of the features provided, which are based on two main pillars, namely, mother’s safety and the health of the child.

Regarding the mother’s safety pillar, the app provides detailed instructional information about the weeks of pregnancy and childbirth, clarification of the symptoms that the mother will face during each stage, knowledge of the examinations and analysis dates necessary to ensure a safe pregnancy, in addition to a service (contact a doctor) available 24 hours a day, seven days a week at the hands of Experienced doctors answer all pregnant women’s inquiries within minutes. The application also provides the ability to calculate the times of pregnancy, ovulation, and the date of birth in the Hijri and Gregorian calendars with a review of a list of suggested names for children, male or female.

Moving on to the child health pillar, the application allows tracking the stages of fetal development to the developments that the child will witness during his first years, including breastfeeding, weaning, and teething, providing advice on proper nutrition for the child, ways to regulate his sleep and calm him when crying, and common diseases for children such as colic and vomiting, as well as providing dates for vaccination and availability of vaccines In each country, in close cooperation with the ministries of health.
